The interior legs of the SnR adjust to an overall height of 7″, 8, or 9″. NOTE: The soft & pliable bolsters on the edge of the cars seat may be a little higher than the actual SnR surface. IMPORTANT: To assure that you have enough door swing clearance please do the following, cut a 17x 17 template out of cardboard. Hold the template against the door frame and the edge of the car seat. Measure the distance from the edge of the template to the edge of the car door trim while the door is in its widest open position. Most people will need a minimum clearance of 7 to slide off the top of the SnR and into the car. This is a MAJOR CONCERN so please be sure to evaluate the width of the door swing opening with the cardboard template to assure your door will open wide enough allowing leg swing into and out of the vehicle.
